Tilda With Tulips

Hello Everyone,

I hope your week has been going well.
This past week or two I was browsing
on the Internet and found some of the
cutest stamps. The Magnolia world of
stamping. They have so many different
 stamps. There is Tilda, Erwin,
and all their friends. What makes them
super cool, is the backgrounds and the
 mix and match characters.

This stamp is called Tilda with tulips.
Isn't she to cute. Then I picked out the
watering can for her to sit on.
I know I probably went overboard with
all the things I put on the picture, but
that's how we learn. And you must have
fun with it. You know what I  mean.
Put things on, take things off, cover glue spots
with flowers, LOL . We all do it. If we are happy
with it,Yay!! If not, we tare the things we
can use off it and start over.
Am I right?

I used a piece of black chip board to
start with. I cut out an easel to put on the back
so it would stand up. Then just went a little crazy
and layered paper, used my spellbinder dies,
airbrushed some flowers and so on.

The markers I used are called
and you can find them at the
They are alcohol based markers
and come in 163 different colors.
They also work in a well know brand
 airbrush system. They are great
quality, at an even greater price.
Pop over and check them out.

Here are some pictures of what I came up with.
I hope you like them.

I would like to Thank the
Photographer who took these pictures.
My Wonderful Hubby Frank!!

Thank you for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Mixed Media Foiling Fun

Hello Everyone

Today I want to show you what I was working on
this past weekend.
First of all I want to thank
for the wonderful tutorial.

After the holidays I picked up these little pails.
You know all the holiday things are on sale,
so I  got all kinds of things.

These are so easy to make.
All you need is something to cover.
Odds and ends to glue on the project.
Heavy foil, ( the kind we use cook the turkey).
Some paints and glossy spray varnish.
That's it.
Then just dive in and get messy.
I love the end result.

Here are a few pictures of the project.

They are going to be little thank you gifts.

I had a blast making them.
Pop over to the tutorial and see how easy
these little gems are to make.

Thank you for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Hunsett Mill Norfolk Lantern

Hello Everyone

You have seen a sneak peek at the wonderful stamps from
Art-Cure.
These beautiful stamp sets are available  now at

I wanted to do something a little different today.
I stamped the image on frosted vellum
and made a lantern to set on my table.
When you place the flickering candles inside,
it's very pretty and can be left out all year long.
A little tip, if you want the candle to be a different color.  Dab  the ink color of your choice to the top part of the candle. I used yellow on one and left one bright white.

The Hunsett Mill Norfolk stamp was one of my favorites because I love windmills.

Crafter's Companion has all kinds of beautiful stamps to
pick from. Pop over and take a look.

Don't forget about our  Crafter's Companion-challenge.blog
Just use one of our wonderful stamps.
Enter it in the contest.
And win some great prizes.
This month is so easy.
"Anything Goes"
Let's see those projects.

This is the lantern I made.

( Here's to thinking outside the box. lol)

KITTY KAPERS

   Hello Everyone

My name is Kathy, and this is my first card for the Crafter's Companion Design Team. I am very honored and excited to be a part of this talented team of ladies.

Today I want to introduce one of the new stamp sets called
Strawberry-Kisses
This adorable little miss is having a good time playing
in a flower pot.

I started out with a Center Step Card.
this project  fun and easy. It has both a cutter and a tool for scoring.
To get the lines nice and crisp I used the
to finish up the score lines.

I punched out six little flowers and stamped them with
the oh so cute flower that is in the set. I added
a little glitter and mounted them with pop dots.

I stamped out two sets of the kitty.  Colored them with the new alcohol based  Spectrum-Noir markers. Then cut one of the flowers out and mounted it with a pop dot to give it a 3-D effect. Again, a little glitter to make it pop and you have a card
for just about any occasion.

I had so much fun making this card.
To see all the new Strawberry-Kisses stamp sets
and other wonderful products go to
and  treat yourself to a shopping spree!
If you go to the site now, you can pre-order the markers and be one of the first to have them.

Make a project and enter it in our  Crafter's Companion-challenge.
This month is "Anything Goes".
Have fun.

Thank you for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.
