Mandi

Hi Everyone,

Today I found out that one of
our crafting comunity members
has lost their precious fur baby Mandi.
(loving Dog)
My heart goes out to Cindy and Kevin.
Mandi, peacefully passed away in the arms
of her loving fur baby mom, Cindy.
Mandi has been with them for a long time.
She has had a lot of heath issues.
Now she is playing, chasing, rabbits and squirrels over the rainbow bridge.
She will be missed.
All of our loving prayers go out to you both.
With Deepest Sympathy
We love you.

Easter Bunny Gift Tag

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited about the new Beatrix Potter Stamps,
and embellishments.
I just love all the characters.

Last year my stepson Devin, gave me a chocolate bunny.
It was Peter rabbit.
So I made a stamped tag to go with it.
I will keep the bunny forever, and the tag
gave it just the right touch.

I stamped Benjamin Bunny on the tag
and colored him in with my
Then added some flowers and a bow.

Using these stamps, makes it so easy to add
just a little something extra to a gift or a card.

You can find all of the Beatrix Potter
stamps and embellishments over at
Pop over and take a look.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Hi Everyone,

I am reposting this today.
My daughter did two more tattoos,
and this time I was very honored to be
able to watch one of them.

The first one is a survivor ribbon.
This wonderful lady was told at
age 12 that she had ovarian cancer.
They had to take one and a half of her
ovaries. She has been cancer free for
8 years now and has a beautiful
baby girl. A little angel sent from heaven!
This is her tattoo:

The next lady I will let Jenn tell you about.
Hi everyone, I had a great time doing this
tattoo today. This little lady drew this rose
when she was 17 and has always wanted
it as a beautiful tattoo. So I brought it to life
for her. Another reason I has such a great
time today is that my mom was able to sit in  and watch me for the first time. That made it super special :)
These are some of the pictures of the day:

I had a great time today seeing my daughter
doing these wonderful tattoos.
I hope you liked them also.

I will keep updating these as they come in.
Thank you for stopping by.

Today I wanted to show off
a work in progress.

My daughter Jennifer is an amazing artist.

This is the latest Tattoo she is working on.
This is the outline, and it took about
4 hours to do.

She did this for her sister's birthday gift.
It still needs the coloring and shading.
I will post pictures as soon as they come in.
I am so proud of her.
Her favorite tattoo personality is
Kat Von D. I know Jenn would
love for Kat to see her work.
So if any body knows Kat, tell her to
pop over to my blog and take a look.

Also this is one that was just finished today,
it was done on her husband, Eugene.

It is for his aunt Judy, She just went through
surgery for a partial mastectomy.
She may have to have surgery again.
Your prayers are welcome.

Thank you for stopping by.
And go get inked!!
lol
Have a scrappy day!!!

Easter Egg Fun

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to thank Dawn for
the honor of being guest designer

Dawn is amazing, as you well know, and
has so many wonderful projects.
She has helped me in so many ways
in my journey as a blogger and crafter.

This is what I have created today, I
hope you enjoy the Easter eggs.

I started with white acrylic paint
 and some paper mache eggs.

Painted them white, and let them dry.

Then pulled out some twinkling H20s,
rub ons and crafting foil.

You can use any kind of rub ons.
( The bugs are great for the boys)
I purchased these at the local craft
store. And the Fairyopolis decals are from

Then just have fun.
Rub the decal on first, then paint
over the top with the H20's.
If you don't have the H2o's just use
watercolor paints with a little pearl ex.
Or you can get "Iridescent Medium", and that makes everything water based sparkle.
(You can get that at Michael's)
After you get the eggs the way
you want them, just spray with a
glossy sealant. This way even if they
get wet they will be O.K.

For the craft foil, I just sprayed the
eggs with a good tacky glue and wrapped
the foil around it, and peeled it off.
Then sealed it.
So easy!

These eggs are for the older children,
or the  adult baskets, please do not put
them in the little ones baskets.
They may think they can eat them,
and that would be a no no.

Here are a few more pictures of some
of the eggs I made, I hope you enjoy
them.

You will have splits and cracks
when you use the rub ons.
They were not designed to be put on
a round surface. Just do the best you can.
They are not meant to be perfect.
Just have fun!!!

These were so fun to make!!
Maybe this would be something you might
want to do with the kiddos.
The paper mache eggs can be kept.
You can use water color paints, just
like the ones they use in school.
And stickers.
Put some old clothes on the children
and make a day of it.
Start a new tradition.

If you have any questions about products
or techniques, please let me know.

Thank you for stopping by.
&
Have a happy Easter everyone.

Here is what Cathy has to say.

Hello my crafty friends., Cathy here,
Did you all have a nice weekend?  Did you all have fun celebrating St. Patrick's day.  I sure did, the weather here in Maine was gorgeous, specially Saturday.  Come on Spring!!!

Well, today is a special day for me, I was asked to be a guest designer  by Kathy at Kathy's Double K Krafts.  When she asked me, I was so excited..  The blogging  world is still kind of new to me, as well as the card making.  I just started a little over a year ago and I am so in love with it.  Soooo, that being sad, I set my mind to thinking what can I make for this special day, and the card below is what I came up with.  I tried to choose some festive papers to portray the excitement in making the card   for today.  I recently won these papers in a giveaway from  GlimpsesCrafts.com blog and thought they would be fun.

As you can see, I decided to add "Hilda Hippo Tear bear"  which I made with the template and supplies I bought from   http://www.thebearyscrap.com/ recently.  I just love the patterns, they are made from acrylic and last forever.  Below you will find a list of the supplies i used for today's project.

1~Cardstock from DCWV
2~Prima marketing flowers
3~White ribbon
4~Rhinestones from Michael's
5~ Atg gun
6~"Hilda...fabri-tac, Mulberry paper, waterbrush, tools to brush the paper
7~Create a critter cartridge for Easter basket and scalloped square
8~coil paper clip from my stash of clips
9~ paper trimmer
10~ patterened paper from Glimpses Crafts
11~ pop dots
12~ Martha Stewart embossing powder
13~Versamark stamp
14~ Stampin up marker to color egg
15~ pink chalk for Hildas' cheeks

And that is it:))  I hope you like it, and i hope you will visit my blog and become a follower.

I want to thank Kathy for inviting me, she is awesome, a very talented lady, if you have not been to her blog , you need to!!   You can find her here.

Yay Spring!!!

Hi Everyone:
Here in Ohio, it's in the 70's
all week. And it feels like spring.

Today, I  wanted to make a little
treat box with flowers.

I found three sites on You Tube,
and used all the techniques to
make this project.

The first site is from Tami White, this lady is awesome. Thank you for the hat tin project.

The second site is from Vadeler,
she is amazing.
Thank you for the Lily Flowers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq12tg8T4v4

And I made the stamens from the
Happyscrapbooker video. She made flowers.
I used the technique to make stamens.
Thank you so much...

There is also a video to make your own
Faux Flower Fluff.
Thank you Usyungs.
Check it out.

I want to thank all the wonderful
people who help us to create projects.
Videos &Tutorials are very hard to do, and take a lot of time and energy.
It's like having teacher's right
there to help you.
So the next time you are watching a
tutorial or video, make sure
you tell the person thank you.

This is my project for today:

I had a great time making this project.
I hope the video's helped.

I hope you enjoyed the blog today.
I will be having a give-a-way very soon.
Let me know if you would like to see this treat box in the  contest. Would you like you have it?
Let me know.
