Fun With Flowers

 Hello Everyone
Last night  I was working on white flowers. My step son Devin  is in charge of decorating the stage ( Just one of his many talents) at the

Earth Warriors Festival  In Ohio Starting September 22nd.  and goes through to the 25th.

We only just found out about this 2 days ago. I started out with the Cricut Cartridge, Mother's Day Bouquet ,cutting out petals. Then the Martha Stewart punches came out, and my wonderful crafter's companion ultimate tool. Which made it easier and faster.
The flowers had to all be  white so the  lighting would do all the coloring. So out came the clear gems, stickles star dust and diamond glitter and the iridescent spray & sparkle from crafter's companion.
All was going well, then the Big shot and the Grand Calibur  had to make an appearance along with some of the cuttelbug embossing folders.
Little  pieces of paper were every where. Flowers all over the couch . Up jumps our beautiful long haired black cat spooker ( we found her on Halloween) right in the middle of wet glittery flowers!! Well as fast as she jumped up, she came down in the paper pieces.  Now I have paper all over the house. She was so pretty all glittery with paper stuck to her feet.
After cleaning the cat and the floor, It was back to the flowers.  The magnolia flowers were the last of the bunch, I found that video on you tube under, what else, making magnolia flowers. Those were  the easiest. Made with an ornament punch from stampin up.
I had great fun helping him make flowers for the festival. I hope you like the pictures. I only came up with about 55 flowers. I hope that will help.

Devin also designed my blog, He is amazing!
For more information on any of the products,  videos,  or want help designing your blog, please leave a comment and I will get back to you.
If you have the time try to make it out to the festival .
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a scrappy day!!

Souffle' The Duck

. Hello everyone
           .
I just wanted to say I had a great time this month being a guest designer.
For my last card, my choice was Popcorn the Bear's, "Say It With Flowers". This set has Souffle' the duck, one of his pals. Because Popcorn the Bear is getting all the attention this month, I wanted to show the many stamps that could be used with the NEW Popcorn the Bear CD-ROM.
For my card I started out with a piece of white card stock embossed with flowers. Then went over the entire card with sunshine yellow and pumpkin orange memento ink, using the blending tool from ranger.
For the fence I used a piece of Pearlescent card stock. Punched the edges using a Martha Stewart Punch. Then attached it with extra strong tape.
I used soufflle' sitting in the basket with all the flowers around him. Stamped it out on white card stock then colored it with my copic markers. Cut it out and used pop dots to give it a 3-D effect. Stamped it with the sentiment "say it with flowers" from the same set, added the Indian flowers and a butterfly, courtesy of Penny Duncan Creations, and done.

These are the items I used:

Extra Strong Permanent Tape Runner

Memento Ink Pads

Say It With FlowersStamp Set from Popcorn the Bear.

Rubit-Scrubit Cleaning Pad

Copic Sketch Markers

Pearlescent 12 x 12 Paper & Card Pack - Brights - 40 Sheets
