Ballerina Notebook

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to show you a fun
notebook project.

This was so much fun, and so easy!

I found a large Mead notebook with
the folders and paper inside, and a smaller
flip note pad to go with it.

I covered the front with a pretty lacey
piece of card stock, Then made a pocket to hold the pen. Glued down the flip pad, and added some die cuts from K and Company.
Then I cut the Ballerina pictures from the set of Paintbox-Poppets-Die-Cut-Decoupage from Crafter's Companion. This pack is so pretty,
and has sets for both boys and girls.
I added the gold around the pictures and the little bows, and it's ready for school!

I hope you enjoyed the project.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Strawberry Kisses Christmas

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to let you all know
about the wonderful line of stamps
called Strawberry-Kisses.  Back in January
these little cuties were released.
Now we have them in a Christmas version.
And they are adorable!!!
You have seen peeks of them for the
last week and a half or so, and they are just
about ready to be released.
Here is my card:

I started out with
and stamped the image out with Memento
ink. Then colored it in with my
Spectrum-Noir Markers. Cut it out and
put it to the side. Next I layered pieces of Christmas card stock down with foam dots.
I found some really pretty ribbon from
Really Reasonable Ribbon and used
to make it look like a package. Cut out
two spellbinder dies, put them on top of each other, then placed my stamped image on top.
I also stamped out "Waiting For Santa"
From another one of the stamp sets.
Die cut it out, inked the edges, placed the
half pearls on that, and placed that down with a foam dot! So much fun!!:)

You can find all of the "Strawberry Kisses"

Don't forget to pop over to the
The theme this month is Dots and Stripes.
And you can enter up to 3  times.

I hope you liked the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Sunday Dinner

Hi everyone,

Today I had a sweet tooth and made
a fast dessert. You can use any
box cake mix you want. I used a Red Velvet
cake mix from Duncan Hines.

The recipe is from my moms recipe book.
It is for the "Cream Cheese Frosting".
It is soooo yummy

Here is the cake:

This recipe is so easy and it is good on all kinds of desserts. Like carrot cake and home made
cinnamon rolls, chocolate cup cakes, and
from waffles to pancakes. OK now I'm hungry!  LOL :):)

Here is the recipe:

1 stick butter soften
1 8oz cream cheese soften
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts ( optional)
( I leave them out and put them on
top of cake if needed)

This covers a regular cake.
If you want some for decorating, make 2 batches. Put frosting in fridge to harden up some, it is a very soft frosting.
After decorating the cake put in fridge.

I hope you liked the recipe.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a blessed Sunday!!
