For The Mail Lady

Hi everyone,

Do you have people in your life that help
you all the time?
Or do a great job without being asked?
Like:
The Mail Person.
A Teacher.
Hairdresser.
Manicurist.
Neighbor.
"Best Friend"
And so on.

My mail lady is awesome!!
I wanted to say thank you,
so I made this and left it in
the mailbox.

This is so very easy to make.
I know in the video she uses a Sizzix Die.
But you can use any die you like.
The first one I made I used  a
Spellbinders die.
It also shows you how to put a view in the middle.
So you can see the treat.
You can skip that, and embellish
 the entire front.
How easy is that?

The flowers came from
Penny has wonderful videos on
how to make your own flowers also.
Check it out.

The wreath of flowers, came from
It is called  Catalina Wreath.
Their is also a Grapevine wreath.
To see more about how to use
that die go to,
Valder.
This lady is amazing!

And the foil, which has a white
paper backing, and works well
in the die cutting machines. Is from
Foilman.com.
The foils are 6 x 7.5 inches and come
in over 60 colors.
You can buy as many as you like,
no minimum.
They are about .05 to .06 cents a piece.
( No I do not work for the company)
:) LOL :)
I just know a good deal and want to
pass it on!!

I hope you liked this little goodie.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Paint Fusion Fuschia Flowers

  Hi Everyone,

Today I a going to tell you about
one of my favorite stamp sets to work with.
The designer is  Sheena Douglass. She
is amazing. Her line of stamps are called
Paint Fusion.
Sheena shows you how to paint on her stamped images.
The great thing is, she makes it look so easy.
And it is!!!
Check out the full line of products over on the Crafter's Companion website.

I used paint on the leaves and
on the flowers.

First I stamped the images on  bleed proof
card stock, with memento black tuxedo ink.
Colored the flowers and painted the leaves,
then fussy cut around them.
For the card I took a piece of 8x8 inch
purple foil card stock, scored it in half with my
then centered a 6x6 piece of black chipboard on the bottom fold.
Framed the the card with  leaves and flowers.
Then popped a bow in the corner and the sentiment
on the lower right side.

To make the card stand up and not flatten out.
I punched two small wholes in the bottom of the foil
card stock,
(one in the back and one in the front)
 then threaded white ribbon
to the back and tied with a bow to keep it steady.

I hope you liked the project for this week.

Don't forget about the contest for the most
followers this month.
