Dreaming of Dresses

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to show you
some stamps I bought from

Also some wonderful dies from

I will put pictures of the products
I bought at the end of the page.
That way they are easier
to find.

This is the card I made.

I stamped the dress pieces, bows, and flowers out
on white iridescent card stock,
and colored them in with my
Then cut them out, added
some pearls and glitter,
and placed them on the card with
foam dots. I also put the bows and
the flower on with foam dots to give
it a little dimension.

I used the dies to cut out the leaves and
fancy swirls to put with the dress.
The little flowers are from
Prima Designs.

To me it looks like the ball gown is
growing on the flowering vine.
Where do I buy those seeds?
And do they have shoe seeds,
and purse seeds??
Maybe they are further up the vine...
:)LOL:)
Anyway, silly me!

Here are the pictures of what
you will be looking for.

Milk and Cookies

Hi Everyone,

They are here, the new stamps from the Sheena Douglass Collection.
This one is a silly moo cow with a crown
on her head. I love it!

The first thing I thought of was,
yes you guessed it,
Milk and Cookies!!

I looked for a template online for the milk
carton, and this is what I found.

Thank You Milkwood Designs.

Then I pulled out my
and went to town.
This tool makes it so easy to put together
boxes, cards, envelopes and a
multitude of other crafts.

After cutting out the template, I
airbrushed the blank side of the
card stock with my
(Yes they fit in the airbrush system)
Then put the carton together.

For the wonderful Moo Cows,
just stamp it on white card stock
and color in. Again I used the airbrush
and sprayed slashes of greens for the grass,
and browns for the cows.
Then just cut around the stamp and
glue it on the carton.

How fun is that!
I added a few flowers and the
carton is done.

Now I know it doesn't really have milk in it.
But just think how fun it would
be for the kiddos to have this stamp on a real carton of milk!
( Just attach with foam dots and they can
take it off the carton and keep it.)

Just add a straw and cookies.
"YUM"

Or, pack the little cookies in a plastic
baggie. Put them in the carton, seal it up, and put it in their lunch box. Maybe add a little note to say, "Proud of you" or "Your the best" What a surprise when they open it at lunch time.

This is just one of the new stamps.

Miss You

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday.
Today I wanted to share with you one of the
beautiful stamps from the Art-Kure collection, Britain In Bloom.
This wonderful large stamp is called Wysteria.
The size of this stamp is 2 1/2 x 5.
I wanted it to be a bit bigger so I stamped it out on
white card stock and scanned it into the computer.
I wanted to show you the beautiful detail of this stamp.
Also to show you that when you purchase these stamps, there is no
limit to what you can do. Make them bigger, or smaller if you wish.

After the scan, I printed it out on an iridescent piece of
white card stock and colored it in with my
Then shaded around the edges with
To give it a little 3-D effect, I added some flower soft to the petals.

I cut the stamp out, and mounted it on some
black and white contrasting card stock. Then added a few
pearls and butterflies.
I wanted the person to know just what I was feeling.
" I Miss You "
says it all...

Here is the card I came up with today.
I hope you like it!

Mothers Day Theme

Hi Everyone,

Today I painted a little bird house.

The theme this month over on the
Crafter's Companion Challenge
site is Mothers Day.

First I painted the bird house then covered it with
flowers and leaves.
The stamp I used came from the Sheena Douglass
Paint Fusion Line, called Simply Sweet. As you can see
I stamped that across the front.
I colored the tiny leaves in with my
 Spectrum-Noir Markers,
and added flower soft for the tiny roses.

My Mother would have loved this little bird house.
I miss her very much!
She is always with me, inspiring me to make and share
different projects.
 "Thanks Mom"
I want to share a beautiful poem that my
daughter dedicated
to my mother.
And yes it may make you cry.
