Gift Purse

Hi Everyone,

Today I made a little purse to put
a small gift in for someone special.
The pattern for this purse is from

Jinky has a great site, please take
a minute to check it out.
The page for the purse is HERE.
Thank you Jinky:)

This pattern uses a 12x12 piece of
card stock, I used an 8x8 piece of card stock because I wanted a little smaller purse.

Here is what I came up with:

I used tiny magnets for the closure.

I lined it with some beautiful fabric
from the Laurel Burch Line,
called "Mythical Horses".

It is very sturdy! It can hold a small
camera, or cell phone, or a gift card.
All kinds of small gifts.

I hope you give this a try.
They are great at Christmas time,
to hang on the tree.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
And have a scrappy day.

Hi Everyone,

Happy Forth Of July!

Today I want to share with you the new
stamps from Ian Hallows called
"Mulberry Woods"
They will be released July 5th.

So pop over to Crafter's Companion
tomorrow and check them out.

Here is my selection:

I started out with Premium Card Stock,
then stamped out the images.
Cut them out with one of the QuickKutz
Doily Rectangles, and colored them
I added some fluff to the hat for a little dimention, and crystal laqure to the snow flakes for the look of little water doplets.

I placed them on gold pearlized card
stock with some foams dots.
Then added a red ribbon at the top and
a pointsetta flower.

I am going to save this for Christmas,
and put it with a gift I want to send to
to a good friend.

Sunday Dinner

Hi everyone,

Today I am trying something new.

It is called "Sunday Dinner"

I will add recipes each week, and
you are welcome to copy and share them.

Anyone who would like to add a recipe,
Just e-mail it to me,

My first recipe is from my recipe file.

Home Made Ham Salad

1 lb of your favorite ham
Mayo
Salt and Pepper
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Dill or Sweet Pickles or Both
(Optional)

First, Grind up the ham in a meat
grinder or food prossesor until fine.
Add the pickles and grind in with the
ham. Put in large bowl, add mayo to taste.
Add Cheese ( I use the a fine shred).
If you like use any cheese you love.
Pepper Jack is awesome.
Just grind up with ham.
Salt and Pepper to taste.

I serve stuffed in a whole grain pita bread,
with apples and sweet pickles.

If you really want to be bad,
Make a grilled cheese out of it.
Use a baby Swiss or Havartti.
Yummmm!!!

It is also great on plain ol saltines.
Enjoy!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
