Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to share with you two

stamps set I reiceved in the mail a few days ago.

They are from "My Minds Eye".

 The line is called "The Sweetest Thing".

The first is "Honey Happiness"

and the second is " Lavender Cutie Pie ".

The company I purchased mine from is called

 Two Peas In A Bucket

The shipping is wonderful, and the prises are great also.

Here is my card for today:

I stamped the bees and honeycombs down first.

Made the flowers out of the doillies, by stamping them out and then cutting them out.

I put foam dots in between the layers, to give them a little dimension. Then added some little roses and  the vines.

New Month, New Stamps, New Challenges

Hi Everyone,

Happy August!! A new month here already.

And today I am going to show you some new

stamps that are coming out starting tomorrow.

They are called the Morehead collection and they are so cute, you are going to love working with them. You can find these at the

 Crafter's Companion Website.

They have a great line of these wonderful stamps, you will fall in love with all of them,

but I just picked 2 of them to feature today.

I love that they have both boy and girl

stamps in this line. They also have a CD-Rom and other goodies.

So pop over to the website and check them out.

Now for the new Challenge this month.

The Crafter's Companion's Challenge

theme for this month is "Friendship".

All you have to do, is us a Crafter's Companion stamp, make a project and enter.

You can enter up to 3 times, and the prize

is a 30dollar gift certificate to the Crafter's Companion website.
They also give away 2 stamps each week.

So don't forget to sign up for those.

One starts on Monday and runs until Thursday, and the other runs from Friday until Sunday.

Today our designers have made some

beautiful projects to start off the month.
Please take a minute to check them out.
And show them a little love.

This is what I have for you this month.

I stared out with the 

Popcorn-the-Bear-Birthday-Collection-CD-ROM

printed out the background paper on

glossy card stock, then picked out the

two friends shopping, decoupage page.

Also printed on glossy card stock.

I folded the the background card stock in half to make the card. Then cut the pieces out to make the  friends shopping.

I used the stamp "Special Friend" from the

Popcorn-Pals-Stamp-Set--Happy-Days.

I stamped it on a white piece of card stock

with VersaMark-Watermark-Ink, used some gold glitter, and then sprayed with Spray-n-Seal-Satin-Varnish so it would stay on the card and not come off all over everything.

I cut it out with a little die cut and airbrushed

it light lavender. Then added some embellishments and done.

Sunday Dinner

Hi Everyone,

Today's recipe is a spread for crackers,

or veggies. You can also put it in a hollowed out round bread an use it as a party dip.



This is Smoked Salmon Spread

Ingredients:

2) 8oz. packages cream cheese soften

2) cans  boneless salmon drained

3) Tablespoons onion dried flakes

4) Tablespoons lemon juice

2) Tablespoons horseradish(optional)

6) Tablespoons liquid smoke

1/8 cup dry or fresh parsley

salt and pepper to taste

Put everything in a bowl and blend with a hand mixer. ( or what ever you have).

Put in fridge a few hours to let dried onions

soften and the flavors mix.

Yummy!!

I love it on celery sticks, or Triscuits crackers.
