SPECIALTY PAPER'S PLUS ORNAMENT CARDS

                  Hello Everyone

                Today is
       Specialty Paper's Plus
                     Day

     The beautiful gold parchment
card stock is the Bonus  paper you receive with every order.
I used it as base for the cards.
The main reason I enjoy this paper, it is very sturdy,it takes
inks well, and it makes embossing
super easy.

I cut the ornaments out of the pink and blue parchment. I used the blossom punch from stampin up. For the ornaments  on the card I used 4 pieces, for the one that you can take off the card and hang on the tree I used 8. Just punch, fold in half, glue and decorate. If you would like more information on how to make these wonderful little ornaments go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu7j-ic5LTM&feature=uploademail
and check it out.

This is the card stock I used. The parchment is at the top. The gold piece is part of there  metallic line. If you would like to see more of there beautiful paper's go to http://www.specialtypapersplus/  and take a look. Don't forget about the coupon to the right, all you need to do is place your order ,put the code "HAPPYHOLIDAYS" (all one word)  in the coupon area and you get 10% off the parchment paper. Make sure you go to the "Aged 65 lb. Cover "and get 50  pieces of the gold parchment card stock  FREE.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a scrappy day.

Ornament Fun

       Hello everyone.

This weekend my daughter and I had great fun making ornaments.  I enjoy when she comes over, we craft, talk, eat,  and have the best time.

Jennifer made the beautiful black and white ornaments pictured here at the left. I think she did a great job.

This is her first picture post on my blog. Jennifer will also be a guest designer in the future. If you like what she has made please leave a comment.

We had  a blast making  ornaments. We cut them out with my Grand Calibur machine and  Spellbinder dies. We used the Crafter's companion Ultimate tool  to score down the middle of each piece. You have to be very accurate or the ornament will not match up.
 Using the ultimate tool made
 that very easy.

I want to give the ornament
as a gift.  I used the ultimate tool
to make the box also.
This is just one of the many
projects that is shown on
the CD that comes with the
 ultimate tool.
I put the window on both
sides and hung the ornament
from a glue dot on the inside
of the box. Then placed Velcro
on top and bottom to keep the
 box shut.
The box will come in handy
to store the ornament so it will not
 get crushed.

We  had so much fun making
these ornaments. I hope you enjoy
the pictures. If you want to know
more about the crafter's companion
 ultimate tool go to
and check out all the great products.

         If you have any question,
leave me a comment.
I would also like to invite you to join my blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
           And have a scrappy day.

Giving Back

I hope everyone had a great time at the Earth Warrior's Festival  this past week. My little flowers were offered up as a gift  to Mother Earth. I think most of us forget that most of the paper we use is from nature. I wish I could have been their to see the festivities.  Maybe next year.

In the next Week I will be featuring http://specialtypapersplus.com/  I have some great cards and ornaments to show you,so come back and visit.

Thank you and have a scrappy day.
