Crafter's Companion's "Sunshine or Yellow" Challenge Of The Month

Hi Everyone,

June is here,  and we have a

new contest on the 

Crafter's Companion's Challenge Blog.

This month is :

"Sunshine or Yellow"

Here is what I came up with,

I hope you like it.



I started out with a piece of yellow

card stock to make the base.

Then altered layers with the gold

paper. I used the spellbinders die

Moroccan Accents for the lacy

items, then added the pearls.

Now my favorite, the decoupage

fairy is from the

Fairyopolis Collection.

This one is in the

 Fairyopolis Card Making Kit.

I added some little flowers and a bow.

For the sentiment I used

Clear Stamp Set, Sentiments, Male

from Beatrix Potter.

This is what you are looking for:

They are so easy to use, and just

the right size. I stamped it out on the

gold paper and layered it with pop

dots for some dimension.

Bring back the 50's

Hi everyone,

Today I want to show you

one of the new stamps from the

 Sheena Douglass 

line,"A little bit sketchy".

This one is called

French 50's Caf

and it is so cute.

I started out stamping 3 of the

images on the Premium Card Stock

and cutting them out with one of the spellbinder dies. Then colored them in with

my Spetrum-Noir Markers.

I put a piece of ribbon I colored with the markers, and put that down first.

Then put pop dots on the back and

mounted them across the card.

Added little embellishments, and done.
 This could be for a boy or girl.

I love this new stamp set.

Lovely Lilacs

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great Holiday,

and a wonderful Monday.

Today I am working with the

 Sheena Douglas 

stamp set "Lilac" from her Paint

Fusion line. I love these stamps!

You can use them with paint or markers,

and even embossing powders.

I started out with a white card stock base.

Then took another piece of white card stock

and used VersaMark to stamped the middle with the small lilacs. I embossed them with

a mixture of to different purples. Then went over them with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

After all was dry, I sent it through the

embossing machine with a paisley print

for a little dimension.

Added the bow and flowers, and all done.
