Banana Split Bread

Hi everyone,

Today, something sweet!

Can you tell I love to bake, lol.

This recipe I made myself, it is called,

"Banana Split Bread"

I made a double batch, but I am going to
give you the recipe for one large loaf.

Recipe:

Heat oven to 350

Wet ingredients, mix in large bowl.

3/4 cup Mayo
2 eggs
3 to 4 very ripe mashed bananas
2 teaspoons buttermilk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 cups chopped cherries
1/2 cup crushed pineapple

Mix until well combined.

Dry Ingredients
In a small bowl mix:

1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1& 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans,(or what you like)
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix well, until all ingredient are well combined.

Now mix dry into wet and gently  fold together until just combined, do not over mix.

Pour into a large bread pan sprayed with Pam and bake for 55 to 60 min. until pick comes out clean.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and enjoy.

Thank you for stopping by.
And have a wonderful Sunday.

Kathy, tried to comment two times earlier and it kept giving me an error message! Wonder if others got that too? Anywhooo....oh my goodness this looks delicious! I think it is going on my must try list! Now that fall has set in here in Dayton, I am in a baking mood! I made pumpkin bars today! Thank you for this recipe!

My kids would probably finish this in a day and a half! I have to ask: where do you get those bread pans?
