Sunday Dinner

Hi Everyone,

Today I have something for you
that is oh so Yummy!!

" Little Mac N Cheese Pies "

These were so easy to make.

First you need to make your favorite
Mac n Cheese.
You will also need:
1 package pie crust, two in a pack.
1 egg beaten for the egg wash
and
any kind of shape cookie cutter.
I used a pie mold cutter.
I purchased mine from William Sonoma.
You can also just make circles and fold in half.
Taste just as good!!:)

The recipe I used for my Mac n Cheese

I box Kraft Mac n Cheese made as directed.
Then I added
1/4 cup cheddar cheese powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup Hormel real Bacon bits.
and
salt and pepper to taste.

Let set until cool.

Here is how I put them together.

This is the mold open.

                                       Closed

                        Stamp out dough.

Place in mold.

Fill with Mac n cheese, then close and press until sealed. Then brush with egg wash.

I didn't  get a picture of the unbaked ones, sorry! They were in the oven when I realized I had forgotten to take the picture, LOL!!!

Place on non stick baking sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
They also heat back up very well
if there are any left lol.:):)

Place on plate with a salad and a glass
of cold iced tea and done.
Makes about 7 from the 2 dough rounds.

I hope you try this recipe, it is so good.
It's also a great snack for the kiddos when they get home from school.
Like a hot pocket only better.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
And have a great Sunday!!
