Rose Clock

Hello Everyone,

Yes it's Wednesday again, and here I am.
Today I want to show you one of the wonderful stamps
from Stamp It.
Crafter's Companion  is going to be carrying
this great line of stamps.
This is what we will be making today.

This is a brand new month and we have
all kinds of things happening over at the

We have a Contest to see how many members
we can get by February 29th.
You and I both could win, just click on contest
and check it out.

Then you need to pop over to the
Challenge Blog  where we give away a stamp
each week.  You can also post the projects
you make with a Crafter's Companion stamp.
The prize this month is the Strawberry Kisses CD ROM and 3 Strawberry Kisses Stamp Sets.
This month's theme is
"Something Sweet"
And you can enter 3 times.

O.K. let's get to the stamp before it takes
you until next Wednesday to read this.
:) LOL:)

This stamp is called "Rose Clock".
I stamped it out on silver card stock.
Cut out 2 arch shapes, one with the
stamp on it and one plain.
I punched 2 wholes in the cards
and tied together with ribbon and added
the little flowers.
That way, you can put a sentiment on
the inside.

Now for the gift to go with the card.
When I stamped out the image on the card
I scanned it into the computer and enlarged it
to about 7 x 5 (inches). Cut that out ( same silver card stock)
with a little extra around the edges to embellish.
I colored in the flowers with my
Spectrum-Noir markers.
The clock hands I cut out of black
chipboard. Then added a little
 Autumn Gold Rub-N-Buff
to give it an  aged look.

O.K. take a breath, go get a drink,
"of water" :) and we will finish up.

Around the left hand side of the card
I punched out little heart shaped wholes.
I had a bunch of paper flowers on stems.
Threaded them through the wholes to
frame the stamp, added the bows and
that part is done.

For the last part, I wanted to make this into
a container to hold flowers.
I found a small tin that I purchased
after Christmas. I covered it with some
 pretty paper, ( because I didn't want
ho ho ho to show through).
:)LOL:)
Then covered that with pink tissue paper.
I attached it to the card with
adhesive foam squares.

Now you can put a small vase of flowers in it.
Depending on the size of the tin, you can get
a dozen or so flowers in this gift.
Add your little card and your done!

Here is the finished Project.

I had a blast making this.
Please come back next week and see
what else we can make.
If their are any products you would like
to know more about, please ask.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a scrappy day.
